Care-A-Lot is a family; our son’s home away from home.  Being with a nanny for the first two years of his life, we were concerned that our son would not have the same attention when he went to day care but that was not the case.  The care he receives is evident as he is always excited to be going to ‘kindy’ and that is such a relief to us.

We were blown away by the very personal approach taken by Care-A-Lot management and educators.  They are accessible and approachable and they have built a strong supportive relationship – not only with our son, but with us all as a family.  We are constantly updated on our son’s progress and achievements and have direct and regular access to key educators should we need to discuss any concerns.

We particularly like that Care-A-Lot is a small, independent centre and not one of the big corporate type franchises.  The staff know our son’s personality, his likes and dislikes and it’s almost as if he is getting that one on one care!  Even though the centre is small, it still has access to and shares a wealth of resources and information.  They have long standing staff members who are highly qualified educators, an excellent school readiness program which is well respected by schools in the area and a strong focus on outdoor play in the natural environment.

Care-A-Lot was recommended to us and we do not hesitate to do the same.  Our son’s positive attitude is a testament to the love and guiding support he receives from the Care-A-Lot educators every day.

I work in the childcare industry and have seen many centres over the years but in my opinion none of them come close to the care and education that Care-A-Lot has provided for our two daughters and our family over the six years we have been with them.  Val, Georgina and the staff are loving and nurturing and our children’s abilities, strengths and interests are always extended and reached within the program.

The children are their priority at all times and there is nothing they won’t do to provide for the children.  We love the sense of ‘home’ that they have created.  We travel from Bexley as Care-A-Lot is the best centre Sydney has to offer!

When you walk into Care-A-Lot you instantly feel the warm, family atmosphere.  In both rooms you can see the learning that is taking place with the numerous projects that they are undertaking and the incredible variety of resources that caters for all of the children’s interests.

Our daughter is so happy to come to kindy and doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day.  Her social and language skills have improved as well as her self help skills.  She is so much more independent.  We particularly like that we can take our own food for her, so that we can pack what she likes to eat.

Val and Georgina run a professional centre and with their exceptional staff they have created a beautiful place for children to grow and learn.  They are always available and nothing is too small or unimportant.

Our children have absolutely loved their time at Care-A-Lot.  They have had the best educators ever!  The staff are supportive and caring and provide a wonderful program.  The activities are interesting and fun and the children never get bored!  The communication is excellent with constant feedback to parents on how the children are going.

One of the highlights for us as parents is Care-A-Lot’s school readiness program.  It has certainly helped so much to prepare our children for big school.  They have gained confidence and learnt so much whilst making connections with so many lovely children.

We cannot thank the management and staff at Care-A-Lot enough for all the time, effort and nurturing they have shown to all of our three children.  The program that is delivered by such dedicated educators has helped every one of our children as they are all so different.  Their talents, interests and difficulties are all taken into consideration and catered for.  They have boomed in confidence and knowledge and it makes the transition to primary school so much smoother.  We recommend Care-A-Lot to anyone as it is a wonderful start to their education.

We have been at Care-A-Lot for the last 7 years with our 3 children!  They all started at 2 years old and continued until they were ready for school.  The school readiness program was very beneficial and really prepared them to start ‘big’ school.  One of our children is vision impaired and the Care-A-Lot staff catered for his needs in an inclusive way.

The staff are extremely knowledgeable and qualified and have been working at the centre for a long period of time.  We think it is a great indication that the centre is a happy place to work and learn.  They have some great incentives like Junior Jive and Soccer skills groups once a month as well as community involvement with Bunnings and the local schools.  Their documentation program, Kinderloop, is a great way to keep updated with the development of our children and what is happening in the kindy.

When you see your child running to the gate of a morning, eager to get inside and say good morning to their friends and teachers – it’s a no brainer!  Care-A-Lot has some of the most amazing staff in the industry.

They have supported and helped our daughter develop into a confident and happy little lady and it is clear that they understand her both as a person and also her emotional needs.  We also love that the staff are so accessible and are always willing to discuss our daughter’s development with us.  The feedback is comprehensive, informative and helpful.

It is not easy to leave my child, but when I drop her off to Care-A-Lot I know that she is in good hands.  The management and staff are brilliant.  They are experienced and dedicated and I have constant communication with them.  I feel that it is not treated as a profit making business but a place that really cares about the children.

The program is great.  The staff take time and effort to plan relevant and interesting activities that are educational and fun.  They have structured times like their focus groups but also plenty of free play for the children to explore so that children can learn at their own pace. The activities are varied from science experiments, to cooking, to creative arts and physical challenges!  They also have a variety of incursions that are based on the children’s interests.

My husband and I definitely recommend Care-A-Lot as they are assisting families to shape their child into confident, caring, resilient and happy individuals.
